Full-Service Design

Most clients, whether the scope is large or small, will require project design services. This can range from remodeling to decorating and everything in between. Full design services can also be thought of as "turn-key." No two projects will be exactly the same however they may include the following:

Site measure, space planning, drafting of floor plans, selection of furnishings, paint, wallcovering, fabrics, finishes, materials, accessories, art, flooring, lighting custom millwork, window treatments, and softgoods, product ordering, coordination and oversight of trades, kitchen and bath remodels.

Knowledge of standard procedures helps clients feel comfortable and informed for the duration of the project. Not all projects will require every step in the outlined process:

Step 1 Initial consultation with April Bliss McDaniel

Step 2 Signing of Letter of Agreement, receipt of retainer, and commencement of the project

Step 3 Trade Day: On-site measurements, photos, and final criteria meeting

Step 4 Execution of floor plan and elevation documents, sourcing of fabrics and furnishings. Second visit made for confirmation of on-site measurements

Step 5 Presentation of estimates and furnishings/materials; collection of deposits

Step 6 Placement of orders

Step 7 Review of budget

Step 8 Initiation of construction and renovation

Step 9 Installation period continues and orders received

Step 10 Install Day: Furniture installation and styling

Step 11 Client reveal and photography

Step 12 Punch List: Deficiencies walk-through

Step 13 Resolving deficiencies

Step 14 Client closure meeting and presentation of final invoices and thank you!

Design Concept Only

This design package is great for the client who needs a professional design concept but would like to do their own shopping (sourcing) on their own timeline. We will provide you with a complete concept so you have a road map for success.

What’s included:

• Accurate measurements of the space(s)

• Scaled floor and furniture plan(s)

• Color palette / color concept

• Basic lighting

• Conceptual rendering (optional)

• Basic budget outline

• Shopping Resource List: images of recommended furniture pieces with description and dimensions

• Recommended products can be ordered through April Bliss Interiors at a minimum purchase.

Block of Hours $780, minimum of 6 hours

For clients who may not need full project design services but need more than 2 hours of help, blocks of time with our company can be purchased in 6-hour increments.
